This year's AOJ is taking place in Morriston RFC on the 29th of June, just one week to go! Originally a 30 minutes rapidplay, players now have 10 minutes each with a 5 second increment. For many years it was closed to the West Wales Chess League but in 2018 it become an open event with FM Friedermann Brock topping the block! with FM Grzegorz Toczek being the top-rated last year, Ian Jones of Morriston managed to claim the trophy. He's attending this year to fight for it once more! With a wide spread in standard, anyone can play and be part of something special.
